Pittsburgh Bus Tracker

The Brief

For this project we were asked to create a prototype for an app to help us in our everyday use. After deciding on the Pittsburgh Bus Tracker app, I set out to establish the main task the app would have and created a task flow for it. In accordance with the brief we then had to create wireframes for one feature we wanted to test out with users, and carry out user tests in class. After the user tests and receiving feedback I created an interactive prototype, for which I used HTML+CSS and JavaScript. I decided to test out the feature that would add routes to the "Favorite routes" section, and how users could use that feature to see the bus schedule.

The prototype

Pittsburgh bus tracker is a prototype for an app that would help you look up bus routes, save your most frequently used bus routes to a favorites section, and allow you to set alarms so you don't miss the bus you need to catch to reach your destination on time. It would also allow you to call for a taxi, on the occassion your bus will take too long to arrive or you missed it.
